“Learning from professional work”

The authors’ contention that even the most simplest or uninteresting even of images, can take on a new life when presented in a way to meant to catch your attention, as in a magazine spread or picture frame, holds true I think. Many a time I’ve come across such photos, typically displayed in restaurants and cafes, and have tried to measure their “interestingness” and often it’s just down to the location they are displayed in, the frame they may be mounted in, or the size of the reproduction.
